Captain Frank Davis

Gulf Coast Charter Broker Captain Frank Davis

CAPTAIN FRANK DAVIS
AVAILABLE FOR BOCA GRANDE & PLACIDA CHARTERS

Captain Frank Davis aboard his vessel "Native", a 24' Morgan, is a force to be reckoned with in Boca Grande Pass and the waters of Charlotte Harbor. Capt. Davis was raised in South Florida in the Desoto county area, and has spent the past several decades in Charlotte County and on the island of Boca Grande.

Capt. Davis consistently produces Tarpon hookups in Boca Grande Pass during season, and also fishes the Back Bay areas for Snook, Trout, and Redfish throughout the year. Frank's shallow water boat is a 21' Lake and Bay which can accommodate up to three anglers.

Frank is a on the Board of Directors for both the Boca Grande Fishing Guides Association and Save The Tarpon. Capt. Davis is one of the area's most active proponents of traditional fishing in Boca Grande Pass. His work with both groups has assisted in bringing about conservation of the local tarpon fishery. Frank continues to work toward legislation banning the jig/breakaway jig/Boca Grande jig to prevent the snagging and injury of tarpon.

Gulf Coast Charter Brokers is very honored to work with Captain Frank Davis, and very thankful for his experience and perseverance in the area conservation efforts.
