Captain Mike Wise is a Florida native and has been fishing these waters most all of his life. At a very early age, his family moved to Thornton Key, a barrier island just south of Stump Pass and, needless to say, that is where it all began! The Gulf, bays, harbors, marine life and fishing has always been a passion for Capt. Wise. His experience and knowledge of the local fishery has afforded him the ability to become an experienced Captain and tournament Winner.
Capt. Wise’s tournament experience includes captaining a sponsored boat for a local Marina exclusively for their tournaments and, sponsorships from local restaurants in many tournaments. The experience and knowledge of being apart of such endeavors, has enabled him to become a part of other fishing teams sponsored by major corporation such as Jim Beam, Century Boats, and Hungry Howies.
